David Harder

Thirty years building for the web. Now agentic systems, a marketplace, clinical tools, and a way to keep a father's stories.

My dad is 88. I built him an interviewer.

It asks him one question and waits. No interrupting, no timer. He talks until he taps that he's finished, and then it writes the page in his words.

It never invents. A missing year becomes a question for the family, not a guess on the page. His voice is saved before anything else happens. Twelve chapters of a life: roots, school, work, love, faith, legacy.

He's the first storyteller. Now it's open to anyone with a parent, a grandparent, or a life of their own worth keeping. It's called Worth the Telling.

Worth the Telling home page: Your voice. Your stories. For the generations ahead.

One story free. Twenty recorded hours and a finished book for $150 CAD.

I built my first websites in the 1990s, when view source was the whole curriculum, and I never stopped. Whatever else I was doing, there was a build on the go for somebody.

I co-founded ATMA Journey Centers, one of the first companies in Canada to offer legal psychedelic-assisted therapy and to train therapists in it. In 2023 I stepped away and went all-in on software that acts instead of displays.

Today I run Syntac Digital from Calgary, build inside a group of companies, and open the doors at Journey Center in Ranchlands, where people come to sing, sit and talk.

  • 1990s

First sites, hand-built. The web pays attention to people who ship.

  • ATMA

Co-founded one of Canada's first legal psychedelic-therapy companies and trained the therapists.

  • 2023

Left, and went all-in on agentic AI. Building with it daily until it held real weight.

How I work.

Live URLs, not decks.

You see working software in the first week.

Real domains from day one.

Nothing I deliver looks like a draft.

AI does the volume. I own the outcome.

Speed, without the slop.

Human gates where it matters.

Anything that leaves in your name gets a human tap first.

Say hello.

If you want something built, or you want to talk about your parent's stories, write to me. I read everything myself.
